How to set C:\SEMP or C:\SCL folders as trusted locations when using Access 2007, 2010 or 2013 Runtime

As a result of increased security functions within Windows programs, you may be required to set Summit as a trusted location.

When using the Access 2010 Runtime click on this file and use the following steps to install.

  • Depending on your browser it may automatically launch or you may have to click to open

  • Select Run

  • Select Unzip. Ensure that you don't change the folder directory and leave it pointing to your SEMP folder.

  • Once you have Unzipped the file, you will then be asked if you wish to add the registry to the folder. Select Yes.

  • Summit has now been added to your Trusted Locations list.
